One of the fundamental aims of Madrasah Al-Ihsaan is to nurture young Muslims with the knowledge, values and character they need to establish a meaningful connection with their Creator and grow into upright, confident and responsible members of society. Our teaching therefore extends beyond the classroom, seeking to develop not only knowledgeable students, but young people who are respectful, responsible and conscious of their duties towards Allah and His creation.

With this vision, our Maktab (Evening Madrasah) was established in October 2014 for children aged 5–17. Today, our Evening Madrasah provides Islamic education to 350 children, offering a structured and engaging programme to support their religious, moral and personal development.

Our curriculum focuses on equipping students with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to practise their faith and contribute positively to their families and wider community.

Alongside Qur’an recitation, students study Aqidah (Islamic beliefs), Fiqh (Islamic rulings), Seerah (the life of the Prophet ﷺ), Duas and Islamic manners, with a strong emphasis on Tarbiyyah – the nurturing and development of the child’s faith, character and conduct in a loving manner.

We offer a structured, age-appropriate curriculum designed to engage students at every stage of their development. Each level builds progressively upon the previous one, allowing students to develop their knowledge, understanding and character step by step.

• Tahfeezul Qur’an: From Year 5 onwards
